Strictly necessary preference storage

When you choose Accept or Decline on our cookie banner, the website stores your choice in your browser’s local storage under cgm_cookie_consent (and a legacy cookieConsent value). This is used only to remember your choice and is necessary for the consent mechanism to work.

Analytics

If you choose Accept, the site may load Google Analytics to help us understand how the website is used, such as pages visited and general device/browser information. We do not load the Google Analytics library before that choice. Choosing Decline prevents that analytics library from loading.
