What Our Garden Maintenance Includes
Our standard maintenance visit covers everything needed to keep your garden looking good week after week. We arrive with our own tools and take all waste away, so there is nothing for you to do but enjoy the garden.
- Lawn mowing and edging: cut to the right height for the season, with crisp edges along borders and paths
- Weeding of beds and borders: hand weeding to get the roots out, not just the tops
- Deadheading of flowering plants: keeps perennials flowering longer and looking tidy
- Light pruning of shrubs and perennials: done at the right time of year for each plant
- Hedge trimming in season: small formal hedges included, large hedges quoted separately
- Sweeping of paths and patios: leaves the garden looking cared for
- Waste removal: all cuttings taken away
Visit Frequency
Most clients choose fortnightly visits from March to October and monthly through winter. This is the right rhythm for most UK family gardens. Smaller courtyard gardens can be monthly year round. Larger or more formal gardens may need weekly visits in the growing season.
See our full guide on how often a gardener should visit for more detail on choosing the right frequency.
What Sets Us Apart
Many gardeners turn up, mow the lawn, pull a few weeds, and leave. We work differently. Our maintenance visits follow a proper schedule based on the seasons and the needs of each plant in your garden. We keep notes on what is planted where, when each plant needs attention, and what to look out for.
This means problems get spotted early. A pest infestation on one plant gets treated before it spreads. A hedge that needs a harder renovation prune gets booked in for the right week. A lawn that is going mossy gets a treatment plan rather than just being mowed shorter.

Get a Quote
The quickest way to get a price is to send us a few photos of your garden via WhatsApp or email, along with your postcode and a brief description of what you need. We will review the photos and get back to you with a quote or arrange a free site visit if needed.
FAQs
Can I choose how often you visit?
Yes. Most customers choose every 7 to 14 days, but we can discuss what suits your garden and budget.
Is this for one-off jobs or ongoing maintenance?
It is mainly for ongoing maintenance, but we can sometimes do a first tidy-up visit and then move you onto a regular schedule.
What if my garden is overgrown?
We may recommend a separate clearance or recovery visit first, then regular maintenance afterwards.
Do I need to be home?
Not always, as long as access and priorities are agreed in advance.
What happens if it rains?
Light rain does not always stop work, but some tasks (especially mowing) may need adjusting for safety and finish quality.
